Product Spotlight – Big Shot Die Brush

I’ve been going a little crazy with my Rose Garden thinlit dies of late. It was a little like when the Butterflies exploded onto the scene this time last year. Remember that?

We get so carried away with the big stuff in new catalogues – the stamps, the dies, the papers… they are all so yummy, how could you not! But what I like searching for are the hidden gems and the Big Shot Die Brush is one of them. It is a tool that has hard plastic brush spokes in a spiral shape and comes with a sponge mat.

To me, it was the missing piece of the puzzle when using thinlit dies. We got the Precision base plate in the Holiday catalogue late last year, which help create a really sturdy cutting surface for these dies. Now the Die Brush is final piece to help us use these dies with ease and speed.

Simply punch out your shape like you would ordinarily. Then pick up your die and all the bits that are still attached and place it on the sponge mat.

Holding onto the grip handle, run the Die brush back and forth over the die until you see the pieces falling loose. Most should come loose leaving perhaps a few that you may need to poke out of tiny places. Done and ready to go in 10 seconds!

Look out for these hidden gems when you are next flicking through the catalogues.

Until next time…. Stamp Creatively,
Rose.
