Colour Challenge – CYCI#147

So how did you like the Facebook entries for the Can You Case It? challenge last fortnight – so much easier to enter now isn’t it? We had a great response and hope this week will be even better with this next lot of amazing colours.

Here they are, a lovely selection from Kim of Red, Pink, Black and Silver.

I kind of feel, these colours are very Valentinesy. Given that we just celebrated the day last week. Here is my card.

Rose Packer, Creative Roses, Stampin' Up! So Detailed thinlits

I used the ever amazing So Detailed thinlit dies. I just love these intricate dies and the little tabs they have. It makes it so easy to wrap around cardstock, making it just that bit easier to fix them on securely to your project. But they are designed that way to make it super easy creating belly bands.

Here I have used the largest of the dies in that set on real red cardstock. I wrapped it around some Pink Pirouette and stuck them both to a Basic Black card base.

I created a little medallion using silver, red and black cardstock and those gorgeous Stitched Shapes Framelit dies. The sentiment “love” is from the Sunshine Wishes thinlit die set. I finished off with a couple of those gorgeous little Metallic Enamel shapes – I used two of the hearts in the centre of the flowers.
