Colour INKspiration – CI15

I am so excited to kick off this fortnights blog hop. Welcome if you are starting here or if you may have joined me from Denita, having started at another point in the hop.

We have a really cool colour combination for you to play with this time around and I hope you will be playing along. Here they are: Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist.

Here is my inspiration using those colours.

I leaned my creation towards the blues in this combination – Bermuda Bay and Pool party – and using Eggplant and Lemon Lime as accents.

I’m back playing with the Lovely Words thinlit dies and made this the feature in Eggplant. To break up the blue tones, I punched out the background using that lovely diamond patterned thinlit from the Eclectic Layers thinlit dies. I popped some Lemon Lime Twist Designer paper, from the Eastern Palace Specialty pack, in the back.

I embossed the diamond from the thinlit set and added some ribbon for different textures. And topped it off with a little flower from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set!
