Welcome to the Holiday Blog Hop with the ESAD demonstrator group. There is more information about what ESAD is, if you are wondering about who we are, located at the bottom of this blog post. But right now, I’m really excited to show you what I’ve been up to with my new Holiday catalogue toys!
Welcome, if you are joining me here or if you have hopped over from Lauren Meiklejohn.
I have a cute a little card that doubles as a gift card holder to show you. I can’t take credit for the design, this came from another paper craft mob. I had a customer show me their project they completed recently at a craft fair and I took one look, flipped it over, turned it upside down and new how to create it. I just don’t know who the crafters were to credit them.
But I set about creating my own version and here it is.
Here I have used a number of new products from the Holiday catalogue as well as the Dashing Along Designer Series paper, which is a special promotion for hosts or customers with qualifying workshop sales.
This first card uses the gorgeous Merry Christmas to All bundle, I’m just so in love with those thinlits, the flexibility they offer is great. I added some Champagne foil over the Designer paper, layered the Christmas die cut and stamped the Wishes to coordinate.
This is what the inside looks like. You could even use this pouch to hold some gift tags you may give as a gift.
Here I have added a simple mix of old and new products to create a little Christmas bouquet. It’s important to me, to make sure my new products play nicely with my existing ones, so I look the coordination between them. Here I have used the new Sprig punch and the carry over Pretty Pines thinlit dies.
I have stamped one of the sentiments from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set. There is room to write a message behind the gift card, which sits neatly in the pouch.
As I was creating this first card, I wondered what this design would look like when teamed up with some edgelits, so here is another one I created using the Delicate Lace Edgelits.
Again using another design in the Dashing Along paper pack and some more Champagne foil, I layered more of the Pretty Pines ferns in a tonal colour range – Garden Green and Soft Seafoam (is there another colour Soft Seafoam does not coordinate with?!)
The stamp is from the Flourish Filigree stamp set. I just love this set, it’s simple and can be used for many occasions. The inside featured more of that lovely paper and shapes from Stitched Labels Framelits and the Pretty Label punch, Circle framelits. The sentiment is new – it’s from the Dashing Deer stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed this inspiration and encourage to hop along with the rest of the team for more creativity. Next up is Monique Felder .
Until next time…. Stamp Creatively,
