Recently I was asked to make a wedding card. Here is what I came up with.
The stamp is from the Happy Notes stamp set, which is retiring in just one more week. It’s a rather large sentiment stamp so it’s perfect to use as the main feature like this. You know what I love the most – the line work design above and below the word Wedding – crazy I know! I love little details like that.
In this card, I highlighted the word Wedding with some gold embossing and layering it as flag over the top of the same image stamped in Blushing Bride ink. I was careful not to lose those cute little lines.
The rest of the card is made using printed vellum, Designer series paper, gold foil paper and finished with some ribbon. Hope you like it.
Until next time… Stamp creatively,
What I used to make this:
I have a quick little share today… Mid this year my nephew and his partner moved into their new home. With the warmer weather recently, it was a good time for them to invite the family over for a house warming.
Here is the card I made for them.
I have had the Watercolour Wash background stamp for a while but hadn’t used it yet. It was one of those stamps that “I had to have” and new it would come in handy at the right time. I call these stamps “my little gems”.
With my nephew being a graphic designer like me, I knew the arty swash of this stamp would work for him. The cute little car is from the Happy Notes stamp set, I just love the fish bowl at the top! I hope they did too as they have the most amazing fish tank!
The little accents and candy dots just finished it off.
Until next time… Stamp creatively.
