Just For … man

And just like that I’m back with the third instalment of my man card series. Today is a quick little share based on the Just For You stamp from the Botanicals For You Sale-a-bration stamp set.

I just love how one stamp can be transformed when teamed with different colours and patterns to create a completely different look. Recently, I shared a lovely feminine card using this stamp, today it’s all about the man.

Here I have stamped the Just For You on Vellum and popped it over some of that yummy marble-look paper from Going Places Designer Paper Stack. As the paper is quite busy, I doubled over the vellum to create a more opaque look, allowing the words of the stamp to stand out more.

I finished it off with a simple “Cheers” sentiment – a typical manly statement! – in the banner frame (yes, I know… again!!).

Until next time… Stamp Creatively,
Rose.

Sale-a-bration is Just For You

Have I mentioned it’s Sale-a-bration time yet? I’ve been so excited by the Occassions catalogue and all its wonderful new yummy things, it’s taken me a bit to get there huh?!

The “just for you” stamp in the Botanicals For You stamp set is smashing it, isn’t it? Right now, you can earn this stamp set for FREE when you spend $90 on any current product. That’s what Sale-a-bration is all about – check out all the SAB freebies. If you’re a social media junkie, you would have seen this stamp everywhere. It’s big and gorgeous and has been hugely popular.

I love the sample in the SAB booklet, all those cute little flowers scattered around the big bold words. I thought it was a delicate balance of bold and bright yet sweet. Here is my take on that card.

This card we created at my Sale-a-bration class play time recently. Inspired by the sample in the booklet, we played with a few more Sale-a-bration items. We created this scene over the top of the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper (another SAB freebie – sadly this one is retiring on February 15th ). The left side was dressed up with a strip of coordinating Botanical Garden Designer Vellum Stack.

Topped off with some of the lurvley twine from the Occasions catalogue and punched flower and enamel dot finished it off nicely.

Until next time… Stamp Creatively,
Rose.
