Welcome to colour challenge number 7 for the Colour INKspiration team. Can you believe it? Time if flying by too quickly.
We have another yummy colour combination for you. Check them out… Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette, Tip Top Taupe and Daffodil Delight.
Here is my inspiration.
Here I’m using the dancing girl from Beautiful You stamp set. I must say, I was very very pleased it did not make the retiring list. Yay… we get to dance away for another year at least!
I am really sad about Mint Macaron though, it just the best shade of green, which is huge for me to say as I am not usually a green girl. But here we are celebrating the last months of this colour, so I used it for my card base. I stamped the sentiment in the same colour, giving that lovely tone on tone we love.
I stamped my little dancer on shimmery white cardstock with Basic Black archival ink. Using aqua painters, I lightly colour in her hat, dress and added some sand beneath her feet in the challenge colours.
Trimming and framing her using the layer circles, I added some cardstock strips with flag ends for decoration and finished off with some bling.
Simple but nice.
For more inspiration, head on to our guest designer for this challenge… Jo Stubbings… I’m sure you’ll be dazzled by her spot in our blog hop this fortnight.
I can’t wait to see what you create with these colours. Head over to our Facebook challenge group here and load up your creation.
Until next time… Stamp Creatively,
What I used to make this:
